Monday Night Skills Clinic and Power Skating Directed by Alex Shindelman

Alex Shindelman, born in Riga, Latvia, has a resume that spans 25 years as both player and coach. Alex is a long time RYHA Coach is currently coaching the NY Saints Tier 1 18 Premiere team. Prior to joining Saints, Coach Shindelman has been a head coach at Skylands Ice World, coaching Skylands Kings Junior team in the NA3HL, as well as the Kings U16AA teams. During that time, he led his U16AA teams to five consecutive playoff appearances, three consecutive district finals, and one appearance in 2012 at Nationals. Coach Shindelman was invited to coach one of two USA teams at the prestigious OHL showcase held in Toronto.

Before coaching, Alex Shindelman was a member of the Latvian U20 National Team, the Omaha Lancers of the USHL, the Rochester Mustangs of the USHL and the Boston Junior Bruins as a standout player.
